Corrective action: Observed an employee come out of the main office and begin preparing food for the hot line without a handwash in between. Discussed with the person in charge that a handwash is necessary when switching to tasks that involve food prep.

Corrective action: Observed the handwashing sink next to the three compartment sink without any soap. Discussed with the person in charge about ensuring soap is available to maintain proper handwashing procedures. Hand washing sinks lacked signs telling employees that they must wash their hands. Observed the main prep area handwashing sink without a handwashing sign. Discussed with the person in charge about encouraging handwashing for their employees and having the signs to designate handwashing sinks. Soap was replenished at the handwashing sink, and a signage was provided during the inspection.

Corrective action: Observed several temperature control safety foods around 43-48°F for more than four hours in the main open face cold holding unit at the front of the store. Discussed with the person in charge about ensuring cold holding temperatures are maintained and monitored throughout the day. All of these items were discarded during the inspection. Additional items were pushed to the back to maintain their temperatures. Please see voluntary condemnation.
