Corrective action: Observed handwashing sink being used to store drink products that needed to be discarded. Spoke to person in charge about ensuring handwashing sink is being used for hand washing purposes only. Drinks were removed from the hand washing sink during inspection.
None — 15: 3-302.11(A)(1)-(2) Raw animal foods were not separated from ready-to-eat foods during storage, or preparation, to prevent cross-contamination. Observed raw eggs above packaged gallons of milk in the reach in cold holding unit next to the walk in cold holding unit. Discussed with the person in charge about the possibility of cross-contamination when storing raw food items above ready-to-eat foods. The eggs were moved to a shelf below the milk during the inspection.
4-601.11 — (B), and (C) Nonfood contact surfaces of equipment were not kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue and other debris.
Corrective action: Observed a buildup of syrup and spilt drinks on the floors next to the standing freezer in the back. Spoke to person in charge about cleaning frequency for this item to reduce the attraction to pests.
6-403.11 — Personal belongings were stored in an unapproved area.
Corrective action: Observed employee items being stored in the standing fridge in the back on the top shelf above consumer items. Spoke to person in charge about moving these items away from consumer items to prevent the risk of contamination. Consumer items were removed from the shelving below the employee products during the inspection.
