2-301.14 — Employees were observed failing to use the washing procedure required by the code when washing their hands.
Corrective action: Observed staff not washing hands in between glove change after handling raw fish and raw pork. Employees were observed washing hands in a sink not designated as a hand washing sink. Observed staff washing hands in the 3-compartment sink. Person in charge corrected both violations immediately.
6-301.13 — Food preparation sinks, mop sinks, or warewashing sinks were provided soap or drying devices.
Corrective action: Spoke to person in charge about 4th sink not being approved for handwashing due to not having a splash guard. Paper towel and soap dispenser will be removed.
3-501.17 — Refrigerated, ready-to-eat food(s) that require time or temperature control for safety and is held for more than 24 hours was not properly date marked.
Corrective action: Observed sliced ham and a other portioned meat without a date mark in the walk-in cooler in the basement. Items were date marked.
3-603.11 — The consumer advisory in the menu did not meet the requirements in the code.
Corrective action: Asterisks are on the chicken items on the menu. Poultry is not offered undercooked by the facility. Error will be corrected.
